Wonton Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 15 oz wonton noodles (fresh, unsteamed)
  • 30 wontons (can be frozen or fresh)
  • 12 oz bok choy
  • 1 piece green onion
  • 8 pieces shrimp (peeled, deveined)
  • 14 oz chicken broth
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.25 white pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare noodles by dunking half in boiled water for 1 minute, dunking it in cold water for 1 minute, and return to boiled water for 15-20 seconds.
  2. Drizzle olive oil and mix noodles.
  3. Repeat with other half of noodles and set aside.
  4. Prepare broth by boiling water, chicken broth, olive oil, and salt.
  5. Wash and cut bok choy and add to broth. Cover pot for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add fish sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper.
  7. Take out bok choy and add shrimp. Cook for 1 minute.
  8. Cook wontons according to package if frozen or boil for 3-5 minutes if fresh.
  9. Plate.
